  1. Julianna, what a delight to find you and your work on NM Women in the arts- registry!

Sent me down a beautiful rabbit hole of memories- thanking Toledo while he brushed his teeth at institute de graphica- felt like thanking the patron saint of the arts in Oax. -which he was.

25 years ago? 30? 36? Met , worked with and fell in with the (then young!) boys of espacio zapata! Yeska, Line and Cesareo-
Oaxaca cracked my heart wide open-still does. Look forward to meeting you someday! Love that herstory project! Thanks for bringing a wash of memories- and for doing the work you do. Until April- I’m artist in residence at our second location- martinez studio on canyon- closing out 30 years on the floor- then maybe I’ll have time to come to abq for your print class and such. Stop and say hi sometime in SF. – I can almost taste Wence’s mothers tamales in Teotitlan – thanks- onward ❤️be well
