Stop by the Julianna Kirwin Printmaking Studio this Saturday, April 17 at 10am to see our new mural being mounted on the outdoor wall along Mountain Road and 8th St! Four women have created hand printed portraits of eight women. “We each chose two women that we wanted to showcase in our mural titled Together We Make Herstory,” states Lena Weiss. Pictured in the mural are Georgia O’Keefe, Dolores Huerta, Deb Haaland, Augusta Savage, Friedl Dicker-Brandeis, Amanda Gorman, Emma Gonzalez and one self portrait.

I of course will look up who some of these women are bc alas I do not know all of them. Really uplifting to see the images, content and colors. Thanks for the contribution to the neighborhood
