"Francisco's Hat" is an original woodcut print that I created in 2019 to honor the passing of the master printmaker Francisco Toledo. The image was hand carved into a sheet of MDF and then printed in two stages-first the colored areas and then the black. The image is a detail from a larger woodblock mural, "Pan American Unity" that was exhibited at the National Hispanic Cultural Center in Albuquerque, NM. This woodcut was hand printed in my studio on Stonehenge paper using Gamblin oil based inks. Signed and dated. A collector's item! Dimensions: 16" x 16"
