I so enjoyed creating this woodblock print of the tools of my trade! Here you can see my brayers, inks, hand printing tool (called a baren), glove, oil, scraping tool and knives (for mixing the ink). The scissors are for cutting shapes from linoleum or plastic that I can carve into and print. I love all my tools and try to take really good care of them so that they are clean and ready for daily use. They all have dedicated places in my studio so that I can easily find them. The joy of printmaking is in using these tools...knowing just how to mix my inks for each particular print!

This woodblock was printed with oil based inks is on 22" x 30" Arnhem paper, the image measuring 20" x 26".
